Cut through the noise to craft your hardworking artist website

In one Zoom call, I’ll cut through the noise online about the best artist websites and design tips and create a personalized checklist for you to update your website so that it gives you more confidence to level up your artist career.

DON’T LET YOUR OUTDATED WEBSITE HOLD YOU BACK ANYMORE

Does this sound like you? Your artist website is stressing you out because it’s old and tired and preventing you from applying to grant, residency and exhibition opportunities. You just want a professional portfolio that shows your best work and gives a good impression to potential curators, grantors, employers and career-boosters. The list of things to do seems so long, and you just don’t know where to start. Meanwhile, you’re wasting hours scouring the internet for artist insights and design tips, but there’s not much out there for fine artist websites, and you’re sick of seeing “Best Artist Websites” lists that include wedding photographers as artists!

…THAT’S WHERE I COME IN

Hi, I’m Christina.

I’m a multidisciplinary artist, curator, and website project manager (and parent!). I’ve been in the business of making websites for over 15 years — leading and producing big brand websites with advertising agencies and designing and building artist and nonprofit websites on my own. I’ve worked on well over 100 websites, and I want to bring that expertise to artists because now is the time we need you and your important work. I’ve been coaching artists on their websites for 2 years with Mass MoCA’s Assets for Artists program and hosting artist website workshops and talks with arts councils and university art programs.

I’m a multidisciplinary artist with a hard-to-define art practice (I make conceptual and often project-based work using drawing, installation, DIY tech, etc.). I use my extensive knowledge and network to help artists like you feel confident to DIY your website and marketing so it doesn’t feel stressful and advances your unique goals.

I pushed through my own imposter syndrome as an artist (and a website producer for that matter!), and eventually I learned to use my website as a tool to get to the next level of my art career. My confidence grew exponentially. I understand the feeling of being embarrassed by your website so much that it holds you back from going for big opportunities. I’ll help you cut through the noise and the pressure with a personalized, manageable task list for you to update your website with confidence!
